The Role

As a Network Implementation Program Manager you will have the opportunity to manage construction projects issued out to construction for Southern Oregon. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by ensuring project timelines are met, ensuring vendors perform quality work, while staying within budget and scope. This role reports directly to the SR MGR Local Network Implementation and is considered an Individual Contributor. The team you will be working with has a diverse set of skills and backgrounds, values solution oriented, diversity of thought, customer obsession, and teamwork with a growth mindset.

Location and Schedule

  • This position will report to the office in Medford, Oregon.

  • Full time salaried position with base hours of M-F 7:30-4:30

  • Travel is specifically within Southern OR, to and from job sites that could be driven to and from within the same day.

The Main Responsibilities

  • End to end project management

  • Relationship building with Vendors

  • Quality audit of work performed by vendors

  • Responsible to ensure accurate as-builts and billing

  • Responsible for managing budget on projects to include Change in Plan (CIP’s) and validate appropriate funding is approved.

  • Field interface with customers or municipalities, partnered with Engineering

  • Moderate to Complex work using external vendors: network expansion, fiber builds, relocations, building adds

What We Look For in a Candidate

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience or 2-3 years with a Master's Degree.

  • Fully seasoned with typically 5+ years professional experience.

  • Knowledgeable and able to work in appropriate systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, Adobe, PowerPoint, etc)

  • Experience reading construction drawings, prints and civil plans

  • Knowledgeable about construction methods and procedures (Aerial, Buried, Underground, intra buildings, etc)

Preferred

  • Knowledgeable about copper and fiber splicing.

  • Knowledgeable about Utilities, ROW and easements

  • Fluent on current approved products and technology.

  • Telecom knowledge or background

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
